St. Julian’s and ISTA value respect
and ask that all participants, staff, hosts and teachers behave at all times in a manner which shows respect for:
Dress appropriately, stick to the
schedule, get rid of your gum, abide by the curfew…simple, boring stuff that’s easy to do and that makes each
day’s adventures come quicker and easier.
Pay attention to what ISTA staff,
visiting teachers, the host school/community and your ISTA peers have to teach you.
We’re all here for a reason and have plenty to learn.
Acknowledge and abide by the culture
of the country you’re in. Adhere to the rules of the host school and the
family you’re staying with.
ISTA has a mission – at the
centre of that mission is this opportunity for us to teach and learn alongside you.
When you realise that the best fun comes from the hardest work, you will truly fly!
We believe in you. Please respect that and make this ISTA experience a
high point in all our lives.
